Receiving Lead

Chalet’s Retail Store has an opportunity for a Receiving Lead position for your consideration. We are looking for an innovative and supportive Receiving Lead to join our hardworking receiving team for our beautiful garden and lifestyle center. Reporting directly to the Receiving Manager, you’ll primarily be responsible for continually maximizing the productivity of the receiving team, creating a positive workplace, and providing consistently efficient and accurate inventory management as it is received. The main responsibilities are:
Inventory Management & Receiving - You will help to manage the hub of our retail store inventory control process by accurately counting and recording merchandise received, inspecting shipments, and reconciling purchase orders. You will assist in generating price tags, returning damaged merchandise, and maximizing storage facility usage.
Supervision - You will assist the Receiving Manager in training, motivating and supervising stockroom staff and act as the manager in his absence.
Customer Service - You will provide a high level of courteous, accurate and enthusiastic customer service to our customers, employees, and vendors. You will have heavy customer contact and assist stockroom personnel with loading customer cars and assembling products as needed.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
2+ years retail, customer service, inventory, inventory management, warehouse or shipping receiving experience, or equivalent.
Previous supervisory experience.
Basic computer and math abilities with a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience with Shopify and Acumatica is a plus.
The ability to stand for 8+ hours and lift 75+ lbs.
Being forklift certified is a plus.
The ideal candidate will pay extreme attention to detail, have a strong work ethic, be able to work independently as well as with a team, and be accountable, reliable and trustworthy.
A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required for this position.
This is a full-time, year-round position that will work 40+ hours per week. Schedule includes working 4 weekdays and either Saturday or Sunday.
