Our client, a leading organization in data center and hardware solutions, is seeking a Systems Design Engineer to join their team. As a Systems Design Engineer, you will be part of the Data Center Platform Engineering Group supporting 3rd shift operations.Job Title: Systems Design Engineer (3rd Shift)Location: Austin, Texas, US (Main Site)Pay Range: $65 per hourWhat's the Job?Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and software issues within data center environments. Monitor and manage incoming support tickets, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions. Collaborate with vendors, OEMs, and internal teams to resolve technical issues and ensure system reliability. Install, replace, and debug hardware, firmware, and operating system components, especially related to GPUs and CPUs. Monitor data center operations for issues such as power outages, network disruptions, and cooling leaks, ensuring optimal performance. What's Needed?Proven experience in debugging complex hardware and software problems, with strong root cause analysis skills. Ability to quickly interpret detailed technical information and support tickets. Effective communication skills and experience working collaboratively in team environments. Hands-on experience working in data center environments with complex systems involving CPUs and GPUs. Knowledge of JIRA, scripting, debugging methodologies, Linux, and working with OEM partners and vendors.
