This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.\n\nAs part of a hardworking team of specialists, you will lead the maintenance team in ensuring all production assets are maintained to OEM/company standards by coordinating and overseeing preventative maintenance schedules, and directing detailed troubleshooting and repair activities for plant equipment.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nLead, mentor, and supervise the equipment maintenance team responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance on a variety of industrial equipment, including robots, welders, furnaces, lasers, multi-axis mills, lathes, VTLs, and more.\nOversee and direct troubleshooting, repair, and ongoing maintenance of complex electrical control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and VFDs.\nManage work requests, assign tasks to maintenance technicians, and ensure timely completion of work orders.\nCoordinate emergency and unscheduled repairs, including managing overtime or shift coverage as necessary to maintain operational readiness.\nSchedule, prioritize, and assign orders to meet operational and production deadlines.\nPromote 5S principles of organizing and sustaining efficient and presentable team workspaces\nManage team performance, provide regular feedback and coaching, set near and long term goals, and conduct performance evaluations to support the professional growth and effectiveness of maintenance team members.\nChampion and enforce safety procedures, practices, and training to ensure a safe industrial environment for all team members.\nAdminister and ensure accurate record-keeping within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).\n\nQualifications:\n\nPassion for our mission: Millions of people living and working in space!\nCompletion of secondary education (High School Diploma or GED) required.\nMinimum of 3+ years’ supervisory or team leadership experience in a maintenance or industrial environment.\nMinimum 6 years’ hands-on experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role.\nRead and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic diagrams, and P&IDs.\nExperience with VFDs, servo drives, HMI interfaces, and industrial instrumentation.\nFamiliarity with NEC, NFPA 70E, and general electrical safety practices.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to foster teamwork and positive culture.\nStrong self-motivation and organizational skills; able to prioritize and manage multiple projects.\nAdaptable to changing priorities and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.\nAbility to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.\nMust be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.\n\nDesired:\n\nBackground in robotic systems, CNC equipment, and predictive maintenance technologies\nProficiency in PLC troubleshooting (Studio 5000, TIA Portal, etc.).\nFanuc, Haas, Siemens and Heidenhain controls experience\nExperience operating heavy lifting equipment such as overhead cranes and forklifts around flight critical hardware\nExperience with root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies.\nA.S. degree in relevant technical field (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, or related technology) preferred.\n\nAdditional Requirements:\n\nAbility to perform physical tasks, including standing, kneeling, crouching, twisting, and working in confined spaces.\nCapability to regularly climb stairs or ladders throughout the shift.\nAbility to lift materials up to 25 lbs unassisted as part of daily duties.\nWillingness to work overtime and weekends as needed to support operations.\n\nCulture Statement\n\nDon’t meet all desired requirements?
