SCHEELS boasts the largest selection of sports brands in America—offering world-class brands, special attractions, and unmatched customer service.The Logistics & Delivery associate will be responsible for committing to a professional, team environment, provide assistance to fellow associates, facilitate freight from the freight room to its final destination, and enhancing the delivery and service of store merchandise in a customer’s home while providing world class customer service.Responsibilities1st Floor/ Mez Daily walk through every morningAddress fixtures and shelving that needs to be put awayAddress stranded carts / flatbeds Address and maintain organization of all fixtures, fixturing, and sign holdersMaintain Aisles for associates to walk downAddress garbage and sweep floorsAddress and maintain sold and paid areas. Call customers if product has been in S&P for 7 days past the pick up dateWhen applicable fixturing may be transferred to and from offsite storage locations2nd Floor/ MezAddress organization needs by shop / productsEmpty cardboard boxes / sweep floorsAddress random fixturing, carts, pallets and flat beds Aisles big enough to get pallets through Teach and maintain the ILS system in backstocksFreight Facilitate freight from the freight room to its final destination on the second floorWhen an assorted pallet is brought up it should be sorted onto U-boats immediatelyConsistently check and communicate with the freight team throughout the day for any product that needs to be brought upNotify applicable associates (SSM / Merchandiser) before transporting freight to the various departmentsFirearms are to be transported to the gun room immediately upon arrivalCoordinate with the merchandise teams for assistance if an area receives a large quantity of freightWork to clear freight room of all pallets each eveningPallet Area Pallets are to be stacked according to sizePallets that are too damaged to be reused should be disposed of in the trash compactorCrates should be broken down and disposed of in the trash compactorLarger items should be disposed of at the recycling center if they are metal and all others should be disposed of at the landfill. This should be done once a week.If the pallets accumulate rapidly and disposal is needed contact G&L PalletsWall Building and Adams RackingCoordinate scheduling with Shop Managers and support for builds/movesEstablish product clearing expectations prior to the date of the eventAssembly/disassembly and movement of Opto walls, Lozier walls and Adams rackingComplete ownership of all wall building materials on 2nd mezMiscellaneousCustomer Loadouts – Responsible for all Customer LoadoutsDeliveryEnsure safe and proper loading and transport of merchandise to be deliveredEfficiently assemble service and/or deliver customer and store merchandise.
