Job DescriptionOpen dates :July 2 - 7August 7 - 17September 5 - 14October 4 - 7Additional dates TBD; ~5-7 days/month ongoing Job Details:-Reason for Coverage: Current Surgeon will be out of the country during these dates-Practice Setting: Hospital Based General Surgery and Level 3 Trauma Center CoverageMay receive referrals or questions from APP that is working in the Office Practice regarding patients. Primary responsibility is Hospital General Surgery and Level 3 Trauma call coverage, general surgery consult coverage at the hospital.-Call Ratio: 15-20 / 24 hours-Average Number of Surgical Cases Per Day: 10-Trauma Level/Designation: Level 3-Annual ER Volume: 27,000-Documentation System/EMR: Epic-Number of Operating Rooms: 10-Number of General Surgeons in Practice: 1-Description of OR Staff: Experienced well trained OR staff. Skilled at Robotic Surgical Procedures as well as all General Surgery Procedures.-Patient Age Demographic: Primarily Adults age 18 and over. Pediatric and Adolescent patients are sent to the Children's hospital that is near by.Procedures Required:General Surgical Cases ADULT, General Surgical Cases TRAUMA, Central Line Insertion, PA Catheter Placement, Chest Tube Insertion, Vascular Access Devices, Cholecystectomy, HernioplastyAdditional Procedures Required or Preferred:appendectomies, bowel resections, trauma care for perforations or lacerations of internal organs.~Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 daysSubmission RequirementsBoard Certified - REQUIREDBLS/ACLS/ATLS Certified - REQUIREDOH License - REQUIRED; no IMLC candidatesProvider MUST have clean files to be consideredClose to OH - preferredMUST BE AVAILABLE FOR LISTED JULY DATES; NO EXCEPTIONS
