This position is responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of complex software components that support disposition workflows within the ecosystem. This role combines deep hands-on technical expertise with strong leadership capabilities to guide development teams, ensure high-quality code delivery, and drive design and architectural decisions. The Sr. Lead Developer will be responsible for designing and implementing an end-to-end solution, collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and security practices and approved technologies. This position requires advanced proficiency in Java-based technologies, database systems, micro-services architecture, and modern SDLC methodologies, along with the ability to mentor team members and contribute to strategic planning and technical problem-solving. This position may work remotely in the Richmond area with an occasional onsite meeting. Client requires work on W-2. No sponsorship is available.Responsibilities:Lead the end-to-end design, development, and implementation of a Modernization Project, ensuring solutions meet business and technical requirements.Provide hands-on technical expertise in Java technologies, database design, and micro-services architecture.Guide, mentor, and support junior and mid-level developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing engineering culture.Oversee code quality, enforce best practices, and ensure adherence to architectural standards, security principles, and SDLC methodologies.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product owners, testers, architects, and project managers to deliver solutions on schedule.Conduct technical reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive resolution of production and integration challenges related to disposition workflows.Contribute to project estimation, technical planning, and roadmap development by providing accurate assessments and technical insights.Design and develop robust, scalable software components supporting disposition processes, ensuring seamless system integrations.Drive adoption of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure as code, to improve delivery efficiency.Ensure application performance, reliability, and security through proactive monitoring, optimization, and adherence to cybersecurity best practices.Document technical designs, architecture decisions, and implementation details to support maintainability and knowledge sharing across teams.Minimum qualifications are the bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks, with a focus on Java technologies.In-depth knowledge of
