This is a hands-on, succession-focused role for an experienced accounting professional looking to step into a strategic finance position.About the RoleYou’ll partner closely with leadership to drive financial reporting, job costing, and margin visibility across maintenance, enhancements, and irrigation.ResponsibilitiesLead monthly close, financial reporting, and variance analysisSupport budgeting, forecasting, and financial planningOversee accounting workflows (AP/AR supported by team)Manage job costing, revenue recognition, and cost allocationImprove financial processes, systems, and reporting structurePartner with leadership and operations on profitability and performanceQualifications5+ years in Assistant Controller or senior accounting roleCPA preferredExperience in landscaping, construction, or field servicesStrong job costing and operational accounting experienceProficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel, and reporting toolsAbility to operate in a fast-paced, growth environmentRequired SkillsStrong job costing and operational accounting experienceProficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel, and reporting toolsPreferred SkillsCPA preferredExperience in landscaping, construction, or field servicesPay range and compensation packageBase salary: $80K (flexible DOE)
