Job TypeFull-timeDescriptionInter Miami CF is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Electrician with extensive service and troubleshooting experience to support stadium operations, offices, and related infrastructure. This role is responsible for maintaining reliable electrical systems to ensure the uninterrupted operation of games, events, and daily facility functions.The ideal candidate has a strong background in commercial and industrial electrical service, excels in troubleshooting under time-critical conditions, and can work independently or with maintenance and facility teams.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Electrical Maintenance & Troubleshooting:Diagnose and repair electrical faults in power distribution, lighting, and control systemsMaintain panels, breakers, feeders, disconnects, and switchgearTroubleshoot power issues affecting stadium operations and event systemsPerform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipmentFacility & Event SupportProvide electrical support during games, concerts, and special eventsEnsure uninterrupted operation of lighting, scoreboards, broadcast power, and facility systemsRespond quickly to electrical emergencies during eventsEquipment & Systems MaintenanceMaintain indoor and outdoor lighting systems, including parking and field lightingService motors, pumps, exhaust fans, and HVAC electrical componentsSupport the electrical needs of concession areas, kitchens, offices, and locker roomsAssist with backup generators and emergency power systemsCompliance & SafetyFollow NEC and local electrical codesMaintain safe work practices and OSHA complianceMaintain proper documentation of repairs and inspectionsTeam CoordinationWork with facility managers, HVAC technicians, and event operations staffCoordinate with outside contractors when neededRequirementsMinimum 10 years of electrical service experience in commercial or industrial environmentsStrong troubleshooting skills for power, lighting, and motor systemsExperience working on live facilities with minimal downtimeKnowledge of NEC and safety standardsAbility to read electrical drawings and panel schedulesExperience with 120/208V and 277/480V systemsExperience with motors, motor starters, and control circuitsAbility to work nights, weekends, and event schedulesProficient in Microsoft OfficeValid driver's licensePreferred QualificationsJourneyman or Master Electrician licenseExperience working in stadiums, arenas, or large public facilitiesExperience with generators and UPS systemsFamiliarity with building automation systemsLift certification or experience operating liftsPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift 50 lbsAbility to work on ladders, lifts, and rooftopsAbility to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditionsTypical Work ScheduleStandard maintenance hours plus event coverageNights, weekends, and holidays required during eventsApplicants must have work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis and must not require work visa sponsorship from Inter Miami CF now or in the future to retain authorization to work in the United States.All applicants must pass a pre-employment background check.
