{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"43d8ee84705d4cab524c6337","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/43d8ee84705d4cab524c6337","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/43d8ee84705d4cab524c6337","title":"Embedded Display Software Engineer","description":"We are looking for an Embedded Display Software Engineer to join the team and help build next-generation Augmented Reality (AR), XR, and wearable computing platforms.Location: Fremont, CA (Onsite)Key ResponsibilitiesLead low-level software bring-up for next-generation AR/XR platforms running Android XR on Qualcomm Snapdragon.Develop and maintain Linux/Android kernel-space drivers, with a focus on display enablement using DRM/KMS.Configure and optimize Android display components, including SurfaceFlinger and Hardware Composer.Develop and validate MIPI DSI and QSPI interfaces for micro-displays, memory, and peripheral devices.Collaborate with hardware, electrical, and systems teams to resolve complex hardware/software integration issues.Debug display initialization, power sequencing, signal integrity, protocol communication, and system stability issues.Optimize display, graphics, power, and thermal performance for AR/XR applications.Support board bring-up, validation, testing, production readiness, and root-cause analysis.Use oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers for hardware and protocol-level debugging.Skills & ExperienceBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field.Hands-on experience with Qualcomm Snapdragon processors;
