A bright, eager, young student. NO Online Tutoring for this student.\nTutoring to take place In-person in the student's Hidden Valley home. Weekday tutoring is required; mornings or afternoons.\nThe ideal candidate will have a passion for education and be able to provide motivational support and engagement with kindness, care and patience. Student has ADHD.\nOne-on-one or small group tutoring experience preferred.\nResponsibilities:\n- Provide consistent tutoring using positive reinforcement and building self confidence.\n- Skilled tutoring, teaching using the student's own curriculum and real time assignments.\n- Ability to simplify concepts, help build better study habits and organizational skills if needed.\n- Help to improve academic performance and praise small victories with a step by step approach.\n- Assist students with guidance and understanding of course materials and meeting their individual academic needs.\n- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.\nQualifications:\n- Must have a minimum Bachelor's degree.\n- Former teachers/subs are encouraged to apply. A teaching credential is not required.\n- Proficiency in Language Arts along with other core curriculum subjects is a plus.\n- Minimum 2 years experience working with students.\n- Excellent communication skills with Parents, Student, Company Admin.\n- Simplify concepts and adaptability with different student earning styles.\n- Basic technical skills for reporting sessions on our tutor platform, writing concise student progress notes, and communicate in a timely manner.\nGrowth Mindset:\n- Possess self-awareness, leadership skills using empathy and compassion.\n- Bring your solid skill set; teaching, tutoring, mentoring, coaching to each tutoring session with engaging confidence.\nJoin our team of dedicated educators and make a difference in the lives of students!
