Join our team and be part of transforming how modern networks are built, managed, and operated!\n\nJob Summary\n\nPica8 is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to provide high-quality technical support for our open networking solutions and help customers successfully deploy, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Pica8 network environments. This role will work closely with customers and internal R&D/Product teams to diagnose and resolve complex networking issues involving network switching, TCP/IP, Ethernet, Linux, and network management technologies.\n\nThe ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver with strong networking fundamentals, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to communicate technical information clearly to both customers and internal teams. The Technical Support Engineer will also support customer deployments, proof-of-concepts, testing, and technical validation while contributing to technical documentation and knowledge resources.\n\nResponsibilities\n\n* Provide technical support for Pica8 network switches and networking solutions, including configuration, deployment, troubleshooting, and maintenance.\n* Troubleshoot customer issues related to network switching, TCP/IP, Ethernet, and Linux.\n* Analyze network problems using system logs, packet captures, and network diagnostic tools.\n* Work closely with customers and internal R&D/Product teams to identify and resolve technical issues.\n* Support customer deployments, proof-of-concepts (PoCs), testing, and technical validation.\n* Create and maintain technical documentation and troubleshooting guides.\n\nQualifications\n\n* Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.\n* Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; 1–3 years of relevant experience is a plus.\n* Basic understanding of computer networking and networking fundamentals.\n* Knowledge of TCP/IP and Ethernet.\n* Familiarity with Linux systems and command-line tools.\n* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n* Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.\n\nJoin us to be part of a forward-thinking team dedicated to delivering top-tier IT support.
