By performing the job expectations described below you will be an active member of the care team thereby patients are assured access to team-based, coordinated, comprehensive, quality care.\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include, but are not limited to, the following)_______________\n\nThe work status of this will be primarily limited to the following; however, may include the full-range of established job duties of a Pharmacy Manager/Pharmacist-In-Charge (see Pharmacy Manager/Pharmacist-In-Change for expanded job duties):\n\nSupervises pharmacy staff including pharmacists and pharmacy technicians\nDirects, coordinates and supervises all pharmacy activities\nWorks to facilitate and coordinate pharmacy operations\nParticipates/assists in procurement of drugs, supplies and equipment used in preparing and dispensing drugs\nPerform duties of the clinical pharmacist as necessary\nMaintains clinical skills and knowledge of pharmacotherapy by reviewing the literature and attending in-services, seminars, and conferences and documents continuing education activities as required by the Georgia Board of Pharmacy\nFollows established channels of authority and communication throughout the organization\nAdherence to all policies and procedures regarding pharmacy services\nAny other additional duties that are reasonably requested\nOther Duties as assigned.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS_____________________________________________________________________\n\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
