Performs equipment installs, demolitions and moves as needed. Troubleshoot and repair of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment. Must have working knowledge of PLCs and industrial electrical standards. Ability to weld and fabricate simple fixtures and jigs. Perform other related tasks as directed.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities:\nMaintain and repair various machines and equipment\nInstall electrical systems and equipment in accordance with city codes and industrial standards\nRun secondary power distribution lines and circuits used to supply a wide range of voltage, amperage and phase requirements to distribution panels, power and control circuits, HVAC, robots and other equipment.\nDiagnose malfunctioning equipment and repair as required.\nUse preventative maintenance programs on work centers and equipment using maintenance software.\nTrain production operators to perform basic periodic maintenance where applicable.\nIdentify areas of improvement to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.\nParticipate as a member of the Safety Committee.\nUses “stop the line authority” at any sign of safety or quality concerns.\nQualifications / Training / Skill Requirements:\nAbility to function in a team environment as a team player\nAbility to prioritize tasks based on safety and quality\nExcellent problem-solving skills\nExcellent communication skills\nMust be able to read blueprints\nMust be able to follow written and verbal instructions\nMust recognize the importance of working in a safe manner\nAbility to understand what constitutes quality products\nPossess basic math skills\nAverage or above average skills in numeric and visual recall\nMust be computer literate\nEducation Requirements:\nHigh school diploma or GED\nAssociates degree, journeyman electrician license or technical school degree required\nPLC certification desired\nExperience Requirements\nFive (5) plus years of mechanical, electrical, and PLC experience\nExperience with metal burning and forming equipment\nExperience in a manufacturing setting involving welding, fabricating, and assembly\nKnowledge of regulatory requirements of OSHA, EPA, NFPA and NEC\nPhysical Demands:\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds\nAbility to stand for long periods of time\nAbility to work in sometimes extreme temperatures\nHendrickson/Reyco Granning is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
