The team is responsible for the full system lifecycle, including requirements analysis, solution design, development, procurement, systems integration, testing, cybersecurity, field deployment, training, operations, sustainment, and technical support.Minimum Qualifications: A current Top-Secret/SCI government security clearance with polygraph is required. A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or similar. Alternatively, four (4) additional years of relevant work experience may be substituted to meet the labor category requirement. Fourteen (14) years of experience as a LCAT in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Experience with developing in a Linux environment. Experience with Python: Proven ability to develop automation scripts, data processing tools, and backend services using Python; experience integrating Python workflows into CI/CD pipelines for secure, scalable operations. Experience with C++.As a Software Engineer, You Will:Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirementsDebug existing software and correct defectsProvide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standardsDesign and code new software or modify existing software to add new featuresIntegrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environmentsDevelop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositoriesWrite or review software and system documentationServe as team lead at the level appropriate to the software development process being used on any particular projectDesign or implement complex database or data repository interfaces/queriesDevelop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standardsAssist with developing and executing test procedures for software componentsModify existing software to correct errors, to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performanceDesign, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of designDesign or implement complex algorithms requiring adherence to strict timing, system resource, or interface constraints; Perform quality control on team productsImplement recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standardsOversee one or more software development teams and ensure the work is completed in accordance with the constraints of the software development process being used on any particular projectConfer with system engineers and hardware engineers to derive software requirements and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces, Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure operational specifications are metCore competencies include full-stack development, C/C++ programming, Python (SWORD), Kubernetes and Docker containerization, and analyst applications.
