Developer","description":"Responsibilities\r\nCollaborate with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to develop an application within the ServiceNow platform.\r\nEnable users to (NMFS).\r\nWork with NOAA NMFS to develop an application that retrieves work items needed from BUILDER SMS and preventative maintenance requirements from NMFS' preferred Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).\r\nCreate the associated training manuals and/or presentations to equip the NMFS Facilities' staff with the knowledge to use the application developed.\r\nSole developer of an updated facilities project management application in ServiceNow.\r\nServe as the subject matter expert for assisting and providing guidance for all aspects of the application developed in ServiceNow.\r\nSupport continuous CMMS and BUILDER SMS integration as needed per client request.\r\nEnsure data quality between the CMMS, BUILDER, Real Property, and other databases.\r\nCreate code documentation to ensure future developers can easily make modifications and perform maintenance on the application.\r\nRegularly communicate with customers/clients to discuss CMMS implementation progress, review CMMS data, and provide recommendations for improving CMMS data.\r\nPerform other related duties as assigned.\r\nManage ServiceNow installations for the cyber and strategic risk teams.\r\nCreate go-to-market proof-of-concept applications on the ServiceNow platform.\r\nCreate rational, competency-based technological designs from functional specifications.\r\nCreate new ServiceNow procedures and workflows.\r\nCreate unique service portal pages and widgets to aid the business organization.\r\nReview and walk through the code of junior team members.\r\nOversee the development of the ServiceNow solution according to industry best practices to ensure system compliance.\r\nCreate thorough and organized test plans and suites.\r\nEstimate, organize, plan, and prioritize testing-related tasks.\r\nDetermine, record, and track software flaws.\r\nConduct rigorous regression testing of corrected flaws.\r\nTake part in User Access Testing (UAT) to get feedback from the UAT Team, ITIL process owners, and clients.\r\nControl update sets for the code base's transfer to test and production environments.\r\nOversee ServiceNow administration, planning, and maintenance.\r\nRequirements\r\nBachelor's degree required.\r\nFacility Management experience is desired\r\nMinimum three years of ServiceNow experience required.\r\nMust be eligible to pass a security background check by the Department of Commerce\r\nCertification as a Certified Implementation Specialist\r\nCertified Application Developer\r\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\r\nThe ability to analyze information, interpret results, and make recommendations\r\nMust be able to demonstrate effective leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities\r\nExcellent interpersonal and customer service skills\r\nProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software\r\nExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail\r\nAbility to remain flexible and adapt quickly\r\nExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines\r\nAnalytical thinking/critical thinking skills are imperative.\r\nAbility to effectively JavaScript)\r\nProven ability to set up ServiceNow using Business Rules, Client Scripts, sophisticated UI Policies, Flow Designer, ACLs, Script Includes, and UI Scripts to meet needs\r\nExperience with JavaScript/GLIDE and HTML5\r\nExpertise with REST/SOAP APIs to integrate ServiceNow with other IT systems\r\nStrong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to gather
