Job Opportunity OverviewJoin a dynamic team in Miami, FL, where you can make a significant impact in a full-time, permanent position. The expected compensation for this role is up to $220k, depending on experience.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Infrastructure Development: Play a crucial role in defining the future operating infrastructure by implementing new systems and enhancing scalability.Process Improvement: Challenge existing processes and controls, providing solutions to streamline operations and strengthen the control environment.Financial Management: Prepare and maintain accurate books and records for various subsidiaries, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.Accounts Oversight: Manage all accounts receivable and payable functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.Cash Management: Optimize cash management to maintain sufficient working capital for business operations.Accounting Issue Resolution: Identify and research complex accounting issues, such as consolidation, construction contracts, capitalization of expenses, and revenue recognition.Compliance Activities: Handle the filing of sales and use tax, property tax, and other necessary compliance activities.Capital Structure Optimization: Assist in optimizing the capital structure, including debt versus equity and financing options.Banking Relationships: Gain exposure to various banking relationships and counterparties, participating in FP&A, transaction, and project modeling.Budget Preparation: Prepare annual budgets and monitor actual performance against these budgets.Reporting: Generate monthly and quarterly reports for management and the Board of Directors.Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in AccountingMinimum of 5 years of relevant experienceCPA designation (Tax background preferred)Experience with SEC reportingStrong Excel skillsProficient in technologyThis position offers the opportunity to connect with a reputable client in Miami, fostering both professional and personal growth while contributing meaningfully to the organization's financial health and operational excellence.Employment Type: Full-Time
