Radiologic Technologist in Gastonia, NC
Opportunity available for a skilled Radiology/X-ray Technologist in a dynamic neurosurgery and neurology outpatient clinic environment. This role centers on providing quality imaging services, collaborating with a supportive multidisciplinary team, and working with a diverse patient population-including adults and pediatrics-requiring spine, head, and injection imaging.Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM No weekends, on-call, or holiday coverage required Minimal floating, with extremely rare coverage at nearby campuses Key Qualifications: Current ARRT (R) certification and BLS required Minimum of 2 years of imaging experience, including with spine and head diagnostics (some procedures can be taught if needed) Experience utilizing both C-arm and standard X-ray equipment Comfortable in a fast-paced clinic setting with high patient volumes Willingness to assist with ancillary tasks such as CD creation and light administrative duties Proficiency in EPIC EMR and PACS systems (Intellaspace preferred) Strong communication and teamwork skills Core Responsibilities: Conduct high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures according to physician orders for both adult and pediatric patients Support the injection suite, assisting with room prep and limited imaging guidance (no sedation or anesthesia required) Collaborate closely with RNs, CNAs, other technologists, front desk, and medical providers to ensure seamless patient care Maintain accurate patient records and image documentation within hospital systems Uphold departmental protocols for safety, infection control, and confidentiality Work Environment and Perks: Well-supported department with RN, CNA, techs, and administrative staff Modern equipment: Shimadzu X-ray, GE OEC C-arm, EPIC/Intellaspace software One-week orientation for smooth onboarding Free campus parking Professional, collegial workplace culture with opportunity to learn and grow Ready to start immediately and make an impact in an innovative clinical setting?
