This role involves teaching live online sessions, mentoring students, providing feedback, and contributing to a collaborative instructional environment.\nClasses are delivered 100% online in a synchronous format.\nKey Responsibilities\nDeliver live online training sessions on Tableau and data visualization concepts\nCover key topics including:\nFundamentals of data visualization and storytelling\nData organization and preparation in Tableau\nCreating charts, dashboards, and interactive reports\nFilters, parameters, and sets\nAdvanced visualization techniques (heat maps, treemaps, etc.)\nDashboard design best practices\nPractical business use cases and case studies\nProvide hands-on support for lab activities and projects\nMentor learners and resolve technical or conceptual queries\nConduct assessments, evaluations, or mock sessions when required\nMaintain session quality metrics and learner engagement\nCollaborate with internal teams on curriculum updates and feedback\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, IT, Computer Science, or related field\nStrong hands-on experience with Tableau Desktop/Server\nExperience in data visualization, business intelligence, or analytics roles\nSolid understanding of data preparation and interpretation\nPrior experience delivering online or classroom training preferred\nExcellent communication and presentation skills\n\nPreferred Skills\nTableau certification (Desktop Specialist / Associate / Professional)\nKnowledge of SQL, Excel, or Python for data analysis\nExposure to BI tools like Power BI or Looker\nExperience in building dashboards for business scenarios\nKey Competencies\nAbility to explain complex concepts clearly\nStrong learner engagement and facilitation skills\nStructured and professional virtual delivery\nProblem-solving and mentoring mindset\nStudent Support & Mentorship\nProvide individualized student support during live sessions and scheduled office hours.\nMaintain regular communication with students regarding progress, expectations, and milestones.\nRespond to student and staff communications in a timely and professional manner.\nProvide clear, constructive, and timely feedback on assignments and assessments.\nPerformance Monitoring\nEvaluate student progress based on course deliverables and established grading rubrics.\nMaintain accurate documentation of student performance and engagement.\nIdentify and escalate academic or performance concerns to the Lead Instructor or appropriate staff.\nSupport performance improvement plans when necessary.\nCollaboration & Professional Conduct\nAdhere to institutional policies and instructional team standards.\nFoster an inclusive, respectful, and professional learning environment.\nServe as a role model and mentor for students.\nCollaborate with instructional staff and program teams to improve the student learning experience.\nRepresent the organization professionally when interacting with students, staff, and external stakeholders.\nWork Schedule\nPart-Time instructors typically work 10–15 hours per week depending on cohort schedules.\nThe total weekly part-time commitment is expected to be 8-12 hours.\nWeekday - 06:30 PM CST - 09:30 PM CST (Monday , Wednesday and Thursday)\nWeekend - 09:00 AM CST - 12:00 PM CST (Saturday and Sunday)\nFlexibility for evening availability is required.\n\nBenefits\n\nCompensation\nThe anticipated pay range for this position is $55 – $60 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.\nThis position is classified as Part-Time, Non-Exempt, and employees will be compensated for all hours worked in accordance with applicable federal and state wage and hour laws.\nEqual Employment Opportunity\nWe are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees and applicants.
