Teachers buildpositive classroom environments, monitor student progress, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure every studentreceives the support needed to succeed.QUALIFICATIONS:Education/Certification:* Bachelor's degree in education or a related field from an accredited institution* Valid Texas teaching certification required in the appropriate content or grade level areaExperience:* Strong knowledge of instructional best practices, curriculum standards, and classroommanagement strategies* Ability to work effectively with diverse students, families, staff, and community partners* Strong instructional, communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skillsSPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:* Ability to use student data and instructional technology tools to monitor progress and improvestudent learning* Commitment to student growth, academic success, and equitable access to high-qualityinstruction* Bilingual skills preferredMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:I. INSTRUCTIONAL PLANNINGDevelop lesson plans aligned with state standards and district curriculum.Use assessment data to inform instruction.Design lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners.II. INSTRUCTIONDeliver engaging instruction that promotes critical thinking and student participation.Use a variety of instructional strategies to support student learning.Provide opportunities for student discussion, writing, and problem-solving.III. ASSESSMENTMonitor student progress through formative and summative assessments.Provide timely feedback to students.Adjust instruction based on student performance data.IV.
