In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain secure and scalable RESTful APIs using C#/.NET. You will collaborate with experienced developers and cross-functional teams to build reliable endpoints, improve existing services, and continue growing your technical skills.\n\nWe value developers who write clear, maintainable code, approach security thoughtfully, and enjoy solving practical problems as part of a collaborative team.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDesign, develop, and maintain secure RESTful Web APIs using C#/.NET.\nApply the MVC pattern and separation of concerns when organizing controllers, models, services, and data-access components.\nImplement API endpoints with appropriate request validation, authentication, authorization, error handling, and logging.\nIntegrate APIs with SQL Server and other internal services while considering reliability and performance.\nDiagnose and resolve issues involving API behavior, request processing, concurrency, and data access.\nCollaborate with developers, product owners, QA, and other teams to refine requirements and deliver dependable solutions.\nParticipate in code reviews, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement of the codebase and development process.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nMinimum of three years of professional experience developing applications with C#/.NET and ASP.NET Web API or ASP.NET Core.\nWorking knowledge of the MVC pattern, including controllers, models, routing, dependency injection, middleware, and request/response handling.\nExperience designing and consuming RESTful APIs using HTTP methods, status codes, and JSON.\nFamiliarity with asynchronous programming, exception handling, logging, and debugging in .NET.\nHands-on experience using ADO.NET directly for SQL Server data access, including commands, parameters, stored procedures, transactions, and data readers.\nUnderstanding of secure coding practices, including input validation, authentication, authorization, and protection of sensitive data.\nExperience using Git, participating in code reviews, and working within a collaborative development workflow.\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nExperience working with both .NET Framework and modern .NET, including .NET 8.\nFamiliarity with OpenAPI/Swagger, Postman, and automated unit or integration testing.\nExperience with GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, or automated build and deployment workflows.\nExposure to cybersecurity, endpoint protection, or other security-focused software products.\nUnderstanding of API performance, scalability, monitoring, and observability concepts.\nFamiliarity with containerized environments, cloud platforms, or IIS-hosted applications.\nMicrosoft, .NET, cloud, or cybersecurity certifications are a plus.\n\nWORKING CONDITIONS\n\nThe duties described below are representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions of this position.
