Then Creative Compounds is looking for you to fill our Purchasing Agent position.\nAs a Purchasing Agent, you will be responsible for managing the process of sourcing, negotiating and purchasing specific ingredients for the food, beverage, and sports nutrition industries, utilizing a successful methodology while ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods from foreign and domestic suppliers.\nNo experience is necessary. The right attitude and willingness to learn is our top candidate.\nResponsibilities:\n- Negotiate and replenish products to ensure adequate supply\n- Source and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, price and delivery capabilities\n- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and service agreements\n- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements\n- Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular analysis to identify potential risks or opportunities\nSkills:\n- Highly motivated self-starter\n- Willingness to learn\n- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions\n- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills\n- Effective communication and interpersonal skills\n- Excellent written and verbal communication skills\n- Microsoft Office Products\nWe offer competitive compensation packages commensurate with experience.\nBenefits include: Health Insurance\nVision and Dental insurance\nVacation and sick leave\nSimple IRA\nProfitability Bonus and Christmas Bonus\nNote: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
