ALTEC BUCKET TRUCK HYDRAULIC REPAIR MECHANIC $26 - $37 an hour Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Altec Bucket Truck Hydraulic Repair Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have specialized knowledge in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining hydraulic systems on Altec aerial lift equipment and bucket trucks. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems on Altec bucket trucks and aerial lifts, including pumps, valves, cylinders, hoses, and fittings Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service on hydraulic components Troubleshoot hydraulic system failures using diagnostic tools and technical manuals Replace or rebuild hydraulic components including boom cylinders, outrigger cylinders, and rotary actuators Test hydraulic systems for proper operation, pressure, and flow rates Maintain accurate service records and documentation Perform welding and fabrication repairs as needed Ensure all work meets ANSI standards and manufacturer specifications Conduct safety inspections and annual certifications on aerial equipment Order parts and maintain inventory of common hydraulic components Required Qualifications Minimum 3-5 years of experience working on aerial lift equipment, preferably Altec brand Strong understanding of hydraulic operating systems Ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics and MFGR manuals Experience with diagnostic equipment and pressure testing tools Valid driver's license with clean driving record Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects Preferred Qualifications CDL license Experience with electrical and hydraulic systems on aerial equipment Welding certification OSHA safety training Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces Ability to stand, kneel, and work in various positions for extended periods What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Fully paid health insurance 401(k) retirement plan Paid time off, holiday pay and sick time pay Pay: $26.00 - $37.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Health insurance Paid time off Work Location: In person
