Military Veterans Encouraged to Apply.\nJob Description:\nAs a Python Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and management of application development projects in support of the IT infrastructure. You will leverage your Python expertise to create and deploy applications, contribute to large-scale data processing, and support advanced analytics to enhance a forensic and investigative ecosystem.\n\nRequirements:\nU.S. Citizenship is required\nMust possess an active TS clearance at the time of application, be willing and able to obtain SCI access, and pass a CI polygraph.\nThis position is onsite 5/days a week in Chantilly, VA\nMay require occasional travel for Program Increment planning sessions\nQualifications and Experience:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field\nApproximately 5 years of experience in software engineering with a focus on Python.\nFamiliarity with the SAFe Agile framework.\n\nUnderstanding of forensic and investigative system requirements is a plus.\n\nDemonstrated experience designing and implementing software solutions.\nRequired Technical Skills\nPython Proficiency:\nStrong proficiency with Python, including its libraries and frameworks.\n\nExperience in system architecture design using Python.\nAdditional Technical Skills:\nFamiliarity with frontend frameworks (Angular, React, Svelte).\n\nExperience with data streaming and integration technologies such as Apache NiFi.\n\nUnderstanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).\n\nBasic knowledge of GraphQL.\n\nGeneral understanding of microservices architecture.\n\nExperience with SAFe Agile methodologies.\n\nExperience working in classified environments is a plus.\nRequired Technical Experience:\nFamiliarity with frontend frameworks (Angular, React, Svelte).\nExperience with data streaming and integration technologies such as Apache NiFi.\nUnderstanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).\nBasic knowledge of GraphQL.\nGeneral understanding of microservices architecture.\nExperience with SAFe Agile methodologies.\nExperience working in classified environments is a plus.\nResponsibilities:\nIntegrate third-party components and introduce new custom capabilities using Python.\n\nModify existing Python code and recommend process improvements.\n\nAutomate operations and maintenance tasks using Python and related automation tools.\n\nParticipate in all aspects of the software development life cycle.\n\nContribute to planning, requirements gathering, development, testing, and quality assurance.\n\nParticipate in technical project milestone reviews and code architecture sessions.\n\nProvide resource estimation and development best practices knowledge transfer.\n\nParticipate in Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) activities.\n\nSupport the multi-enclave environment (Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret).\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration.\nPython Development:\nDesign, develop, test, and manage application development projects focusing on Python.\nImplement technical efforts using Python for data processing and computational modeling.\nCompensation and Benefits:\nAt NDi, we value our team and are committed to retaining top talent by offering competitive benefits and compensation packages.
