{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"4309b6bacbbaf60869648280","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/4309b6bacbbaf60869648280","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/4309b6bacbbaf60869648280","title":"Weapons System Integration (WSI) System Engineer","description":"Salary Range: $96,757 - $120,000\n\nBrief Job Description:\n\nWeapons System Integration (WSI) System Engineer (SE) supporting the F/ A-18 & EA-18G Integrated Product Team (IPT) the incumbent will be required to conduct requirements analysis, contribute to design reviews, develop and execute system evaluation procedures for laboratory integration events, troubleshoot and verify system and sub-system anomalies, characterize and document anomaly reports for Electro-Optical/Infrared (EO/IR) sub-systems integration efforts as required.\n\nEssential Job functions:\n\nMust perform system integration activities throughout the life cycle of the F18 block upgrades.\n\nIndependently interface with all levels of the F-18 IPT as well as external organizations (e.g. Program Office, Technical Program Office (TPO), NAVAIR, Boeing, NGC, etc.) on matters related to Weapons integration, project planning, scheduling, document preparation, engineering assessments and integration planning.\n\nAttend and participate in required system milestone meetings and technical interchange meetings as required.\n\nFollow and identify processes and procedures to develop documentation (detailed procedures, data packages, etc.) for system level milestones and tests in accordance with F18 IPT standards, specifications and procedures.\n\nLead and participate in the reviews of system level documentation such as requirements documents, specifications documents, interface documents, and studies.\n\nIncumbent will provide engineering analysis, recommendations and solutions for complex challenges during system design and anomaly corrections.\n\nEnsure required documentation (detailed procedures, etc.) is developed for all tests and is in accordance with current standards and processes.\n\nRespond to inquiries from fleet operators and support personnel. Provide technically sound recommendations and guidance to managers, supervisors, peers, and sponsors on specific technical aspects of F-18 Weapons Systems.
