The Practice Manager will establish high standards of performance and operational excellence through leading their team, building high performing talent, and adherence to all policies and procedures.\nDuties/Responsibilities\nDrive quality and improvement to meet or exceed all key performance indicators.\nDemonstrates comprehensive knowledge of the eye-care practice operations, processes, policies and the capability to transfer knowledge to produce superior sales and business results.\nDrives performance through focus on key company initiatives; partnering with team members to improve patient journey resulting in increased revenue, increasing efficiencies, and reducing practice expenses.\nExhibit strong business acumen centered on continual improvement and execution of best practices for growth.\nHosts daily huddles and weekly team meetings to celebrate successes and address areas of opportunity.\nFollows workforce management guidelines to develop staff schedules and patient flow for the site.\nConsistently establish clear expectations, train, coach and develop team to perform the job with excellence and accountability.\nBuilds talent within practice in partnership with Managing Doctor; coaches team members through regular weekly 1-on-1 discussions, creates development plans, utilizes progressive discipline process when necessary.\nPerform administrative duties to include cash, payroll, inventory management, technical application and understanding.\nInterfaces with the support center and department leads to ensure site resources are being deployed effectively from finance, operations, marketing, and training perspective.\nLooks for innovative ways to improve patient pain points and the overall patient experience.\nAll other duties as assigned.\nSupervisory Responsibilities\nManages 4+ employees and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these team members. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.\nRequired Skills/Abilities\nExperience with running operations of a site, preferably in healthcare or related patient care services field.\nMicrosoft Word and Excel proficient.\nDetail oriented with effective communication skills are required, both written and verbal.\nStrong EQ skills ability to manage both doctor and employee relations.\nDirect patient care experience required, optician license or optical experience preferred.\nEducation/Experience\nBachelor's degree or two years related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nRequirements\nHearing. Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound.\nHand dexterity and eye and hand coordination is critical.\nLifting. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Use of one or both arms and wrists to lift parts, fixtures, and tools on a frequent basis.\nSitting. Must be able to sit for long periods of time.\nStanding. Particularly for sustained periods of time.\nTalking. Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in\nwhich they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately or quickly.\nTravel as needed between practices.\nRequired to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned or to make general observations of structures.
