At times, may also include Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Employment and Training (SNAP E&T), Noncustodial Parent Choices (NCP), and Wagner Peyser (WP). This position also coordinates supportive services and conducts follow-up to ensure that necessary supports are in place. The target goal for customers served is employment at or above the self-sufficiency wage with job retention tracked for at least one year after exiting the program.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\n\nEvaluate program's effectiveness and ensure that operational and contract requirements are met.\nMonitor customer case files for eligibility documentation.\nEvaluates and sets goals for employees.\nAssist with setting center goals.\nMonitor and analyze centers performance goals and reports to management.\nSupervise hires and trains new staff with Site Manager.\nRepresent the center at meetings and participating in the civic and social activities.\nInform and educate businesses and individuals regarding the work of the center and increase employment opportunities for clients in the area.\nPrepare, submit and monitor case management documentation throughout the duration of client participation in the program, ensuring that data is entered into WIT system in a timely manner.\nMust be able to review budget to facilitate and set departments goals to operate efficiently and within budget.\nProvide monthly training and follow-up to program staff based on training plans for each specific program.\nProvide information to potential clients and verify eligibility for services.\nConduct interviews to determine client needs.\nDevelop and track employment plans and provide case management for each client.\nCoordinate supportive services such as childcare, general transportation, bus tokens, mileage reimbursements and vouchers, and maintain confidentiality thereof.\nConduct follow-up with clients and supportive services providers.\nMonitor client progress through appropriate activities and take timely action when client circumstances preclude achievement of goal.\nTravel to attend meetings training and other activities\nMay facilitate group orientations.\nAs needed, Supervisor may step in to assist programs during the hiring process and new employee training.\nAble to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.\nOperate a motor vehicle on public roads as required by the position.\nPerform additional responsibilities and duties as assigned, consistent with the scope and level of the position.\n\nEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND REQUIREMENTS:\n\nEducation Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (required)\nExperience Requirements: 3-year previous work experience in customer service or training.\nAbility to clearly read, write, and communicate information to internal and external stakeholders.\nRequires computer proficiency and the ability to effectively operate standard office equipment.\nAbility to lead and motivate others in a manner conducive to high productivity and morale.\nMust have excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated customer service skills.\nFamiliarity with the communities being served.\nKnowledge and understanding of local needs and resources.\nMaintain a valid driver's license and status as a qualified driver under the Company’s Vehicle Safety Guidebook standards.\nBilingual (English/Spanish) (preferred)\nExperience with WIT software system (preferred)\n\nWORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\nGeneral office environment with moderate noise levels. The position involves sitting for extended periods, with occasional walking or standing, in a busy environment with frequent unscheduled interruptions.
