The Batch Maker may also be responsible for manual cleaning and the operation of the CIP operations of the facility. They are also responsible for general cleaning in the interior and exterior of their assigned facility.\n\nDuties and Responsibilities Include:\n\nUnderstand written and verbal instructions to complete assembly of products. Follow the “Manufacture Procedures” (attached), guidelines and quality standards that are provided by the Compounding Foreman.\nIf authorized, learn special devices such as Automation System and gun scanners.\nUnderstand specific and consistent work procedures to satisfy production needs as a team within own department.\nUnderstand use of equipment like scales, pumps, valves, knife and basic maintenance tools.\nManage basic inventory knowledge, read labels and identify Lot #’s, Material #’s and common sense to identify if raw materials look good to use. Communicate inventory levels to other team members.\nUnderstand use of Lot #’s and Material #’s, ensuring that numbers always match current information sheets.\nCross train in other work areas within your own department and possibly in other departments.\nIf authorized, may require forklift experience.\nIdentify any processing issues and report them to other team members and Foreman.\nAct as backup to other team members in their absence.\n\nMay also be responsible for:\n\nDismantle production equipment (ie. Pumps)\nWash and sanitize production equipment and areas\nWash and sanitize packaging equipment and areas\nTitration of chemicals\nPerform CIP process\nPerform visual inspection of all areas\nPerform swabs on all equipment\nComplete all required documentation\n\nSafety & GMP Objectives\n\nMaintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with established policies and procedures.\nComply with all company safety and environment policies and procedures as well as complying with all OSHA, EPA and other regulatory rules and regulations (THINK “SAFETY FIRST”).\n\n*Ability to recognize unsafe acts and conditions in the facility and implement appropriate corrective actions.\n\n*Ability to fully complete appropriate paperwork related to specific job functions in addition to quality and safety/training.\n\n*Complete all annual training.\n\n*Ability to recognize and report all incidents; even those that do not warrant treatment.\n\nReview and execute our Food Safety Plan and MFP Mission Statement in order to provide value to each of our customers with safe, relevant, tasty food products; while never compromising quality.\nAdhere to good manufacturing practices (GMP’s) including proper waste disposal, attire, grooming and hygiene, etc.\n\nOther\n\nAn employee holding this job position is not authorized to represent or speak on behalf of the company, or respond to any media inquiries regarding the company, its business, its products or its customers.\nPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee of the job.
