This position is responsible for overseeing day-to-day activities at assigned exercise or training locations and ensuring effective execution of contract support requirements. The Site Lead serves as the local operational representative for contractor personnel and works closely with the Site Manager, Government stakeholders, and operational teams to support Marine Expeditionary Force Exercises (MEFEX), training events, planning activities, and simulation support operations. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills in fast‑paced operational and training environments, including support for travel‑intensive and short‑notice mission requirements.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nCoordinate and manage on-site contractor support activities for MSTP exercises, training events, and operational requirements at assigned locations.\n\nServe as the primary local point of contact for Government personnel, contractor staff, and operational stakeholders.\n\nSupport execution of MEFEX activities across planning, preparation, execution, and feedback phases, ensuring effective day‑to‑day operational continuity.\n\nAssist with staffing coordination, scheduling, logistics, and administrative support to meet mission requirements.\n\nMonitor work performance, ensure compliance with contract standards, and support resolution of on‑site operational issues.\n\nCommunicate regularly with the Site Manager to provide status updates, identify risks, and ensure alignment across geographically dispersed teams.\n\nSupport rapid response to short‑notice requirements and maintain operational readiness during exercise execution and deployed support activities.\n\nRequirements\nRequired Qualifications\n\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.\n\nMinimum of 3–5 years of experience in operations support, training coordination, military support services, or related field.\n\nExperience supporting operational, training, or government environments.\n\nStrong organizational, communication, and coordination skills.\n\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively in dynamic operational settings.\n\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and administrative support tools.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nPrior military service or experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) programs.\n\nFamiliarity with Marine Corps training exercises, operational planning, or simulation support environments.\n\nExperience supporting geographically dispersed teams or travel-based operations.\n\nPrior military service or direct experience supporting Marine Corps or Joint training exercises.\n\nExperience supporting simulation‑based exercises, operational planning events, or military training programs.\n\nFamiliarity with MAGTF operations, MEF exercises, or Marine Corps training processes.\n\nExperience managing geographically dispersed personnel and travel‑intensive operations.\n\nSecurity:\nRequires the applicant to possess and maintain an active secret security clearance for the position.
