Description:Solve large, complex data challenges by proposing and implementing creative and innovative solutionsDesign, develop, and maintain centralized data services that power core business operations across front, middle, and back offices -- unlocking actionable insights across the organizationWrite clean, efficient, and well-documented code, contributing to the ongoing quality, scalability, and maintainability of the shared codebaseCollaborate across teams to integrate new data sources and align system design with scalable data models, applying modern data architecture best practicesEmpower self-service analytics by building intuitive data access tools that support timely, data-driven decision-making across business unitsContinuously improve platforms and integrate with systems across the firmMinimum Requirements:6+ years of experience of building and maintaining centralized data services and platforms in an investment management or financial services settingExpertise with C# and Sql, with the ability and desire to learn new languages as neededExperience with 3 or more of the following: Redis, Kafka, SingleStore, GraphQL, OLAP, Redshift, Snowflake, Lakehouse architecturesDemonstrated experience with designing, implementing, and integrating data services with other systemsExperience building and implementing data solutions in C# and Java, as well as cloud-based solutions such as Kubernetes/DockerExpertise with data structures and algorithmsKnowledgeable with SQL language dialects and relational designCollaborative, relationship building, and excellent communication skillsSupervisory experience of 1-2 junior developers is preferred, but not necessary
