Maintenance Technician

Arcosa Shoring Products is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Union City, MI plant.Arcosa Shoring Products makes trench shoring equipment for the construction industry. Our dedicated team builds life-saving, high-quality trench shields and shoring products that are made to last.The Maintenance Tech will lay out, build, test, and perform preventive maintenance and repairs to electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic production and mechanical equipment, machinery, and components. The Maintenance Tech determines causes of operating problems, consults schematics, electrical codes, manuals, blueprints and orders replacement parts. The technician also performs high voltage electrical repairs (e.g. controls, relays) and completes/maintains all required records. This is a full-time position, and hours will be discussed during the interview process.Job RequirementsMinimum of 2 years of related experienceAbility to cut and weld Experience Troubleshooting/3 phase/equipment up to 600vAbility to read specifications and schematicsRegular and predictable attendanceKnowledge of shop mechanics, mechanical/electrical operations of equipment and facilitiesProven ability to safely and efficiently perform all essential functionsAbility to follow directions and professionally work within a teamwork environmentGood verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work within a teamwork environment Why Join Arcosa?
