Coordinator of Education Licensure and Clinical ProgramsLocation: 100 N East Ave, Waukesha, WI, ATSCountJob Category: School of Education and Human Services, StaffEmployee Type: Administrative StaffThe Coordinator of Education Licensure and Clinical Programs is responsible for overseeing clinical placements, student assessment processes, and licensure-related communication within the Department of Education at Carroll University. The Coordinator also serves as the certifying officer for undergraduate and graduate education licensure programs. This role ensures that these functions are effectively implemented, clearly communicated, and regularly evaluated for continuous improvement.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate clinical placements and programsCoordinate clinical placements for the Carroll University Teacher Education Program and Master of Arts in Teaching Program; collaborate with the Associate Dean, Director of Student Teaching, faculty and staff to ensure consistency of clinical placements, school support, and student successIndividualize placements to meet student needs. Take into consideration Department of Public Instruction (DPI) certification, proximity to students' home and/or work situations as applicable. Facilitate school and/or district specific requirements for placementsAdvise students related to clinical experiences and other licensure requirementsPerform other placement-related duties as assignedCoordinate licensure and endorsementConduct audits, maintain records, and verify that all DPI requirements have been met for initial and additional license candidatesWork with initial and additional licensure candidates: respond to questions, evaluate transfer course work, and contact program area chairs regarding course substitutions or transfer workWork with Registrar's Office as appropriateCommunicate with students, cooperating teachers, and partners directly to address their questionsEstablish consistency in Carroll University forms and policiesEndorse education candidates for licensureCoordinate assessment activities within the undergraduate and graduate education programsCollect and analyze programmatic dataCollaborate with the Associate Dean, faculty and staff to ensure consistency, efficiency, and accuracy in program assessment and external (i.e. DPI, Title II) reportingQualifications Education and/or ExperienceBachelors degree requiredPrior experience with K-12 settings preferredTechnical And Interpersonal SkillsExpertise in data management and/or survey softwareExcellent communication and organizational skillsAbility to maintain flexible work scheduleAbility to work autonomously, make decisions, and seek and respond to feedbackExperience navigating complex systems and processesAbility to build strong relationships across and within the department, university and K-12 school systemsFlexible thinking and responsiveness to shifting needsEngages in the university's commitment to justice-oriented practices that promote equity, access, inclusion, and belongingWillingness and ability to contribute to the life of the University through the University mission and ethosPlease submit a cover letter and resume for this position along with this electronic application.Carroll University makes employment opportunities available to qualified individuals whose skills and experience make them suitable candidates for placement.
