In the role, you will be responsible interfacing multiple air and ground systems utilizing Open Architecture (OA) and Open Mission Systems (OMS) across a varying portfolio of programs. This position internally collaborates with Engineers of all disciplines to solve creative solutions for new payloads, autonomy engines, software services and system integrations.\n\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:\nWith limited direction, manage an engineering program from concept, through bid and estimating processes, through execution for all technical aspects of the effort\nSupports high-paced, high visibility classified programs\nProvides technical guidance and management to combined engineering teams including software, hardware and test.\nRepresent the company prime technical contact on small contracts or single component projects.\nIndependently performs difficult/complex engineering work with instructions as to the general expected results.\nCreates, maintains and presents complicated system level engineering solutions.\nTroubleshoot conflicting design/development requirements, difficult coordination requirements, and special material requirements.\nCreates Interface Control Documents (ICDs), technical diagrams, system design descriptions, and other documentation as required.\nProvides documentation and makes technical presentations as required.\n\nWe recognize and appreciate the value and contributions of individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences and welcome all qualified individuals to apply.\n\n45544\nJob Qualifications:\nTypically requires a bachelors degree, masters degree or PhD in engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution and progressive engineering experience as follows; fifteen or more years of experience with a bachelors degree, thirteen or more years of experience with a masters degree, or ten or more years with a PhD. May substitute equivalent engineering experience in lieu of education.\nDemonstrates an extensive technical expertise and application of engineering principles, concepts, theory, and practice with the ability to organize, plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate workloads to meet established deadlines or milestones with some experience in project leadership.\nMust possess the ability to understand new concepts quickly and apply them accurately throughout an evolving environment.\nStrong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are required enabling an effective interface with other departments and/or professionals, and capable of representing the organization as a prime technical contact, as well as providing leadership and guidance to less experienced professionals.\nCustomer focused, formulates plans based on the development of innovative new designs in resolving advanced technical engineering problems.\nMust be able to work both independently and in a team environment.\nAble to work extended hours as required.\nMust be capable of briefing executives and senior government personnel on status of engineering efforts.\nDesired Skills:\nExperience in computer software and hardware architecture, software engineering, systems engineering, and project engineering.\nExperience with Special Access Required or Special Access Programs highly desired\n\nSalary:$128,130 - $229,358Travel Percentage Required 0 - 25Relocation Assistance Provided Not Provided US Citizenship Required?
