This role focuses on power systems, signal integrity, controls, communication interfaces, and platform-level integration to deliver reliable, testable, and operationally effective solutions. The engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance designs from concept to production, balancing trade-offs in performance, schedule, and lifecycle supportability.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDesign, develop, and integrate electrical/electronics subsystems, ensuring solutions meet program performance, reliability, and lifecycle requirements.\n\nPerform schematic design, board-level integration, and troubleshooting using modern electrical CAD tools and lab instrumentation.\n\nConduct system‑level power and signal integrity analyses, component selection, and interface definition for robust system integration.\n\nDevelop and execute testing plans, including environmental, EMI/EMC, and functional qualification tests, to verify design performance.\n\nLead technical reviews and collaborate across disciplines, including mechanical, software, systems engineering, and manufacturing teams.\n\nGenerate detailed technical documentation such as design artifacts, test procedures, and engineering reports for government review.\n\nSupport design sustainment activities, including lifecycle maintenance, technical refresh planning, and obsolescence management.\n\nQualifications\nRequired\n\nMust have a BS with 5-7 years; MS with 3-5 years or a PhD with 0-2 years in Engineering or Industrial Design (aligned with eCRAFT Design Engineer III labor category requirements).\n\nMust possess an active DoD Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain a TS clearance.\n\nProven ability to design and assess electrical architectures, conduct engineering trade studies, and resolve complex integration challenges.\n\nExpertise in component selection, power and signal analysis, interface definition, and design‑for‑test/maintainability principles.\n\nFamiliarity with producing technical documentation, including detailed engineering drawings, reports, and test procedures.\n\nStrong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills related to electronic systems design and integration.\n\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills for effective engagement with government Integrated Product Team (IPT) leads, peers, and leadership.\n\nAbility to supervise and execute manufacturing, qualification, and lifecycle sustainment activities for electrical/electronic systems.\n\nPreferred\n\nExperience developing and delivering electrical/electronic subsystems for DoD programs, including sensors, electronic warfare, tactical communication systems, or weapon systems.\n\nTS clearance\n\nProficiency with electrical design tools, simulations, and hardware verification techniques for rapid prototyping and design iteration.\n\nStrong background in environmental, EMI/EMC, and performance testing and qualification.\n\nExperience with interdisciplinary collaboration and technical review processes, including working with systems engineering, manufacturing, and logistics teams.\n\nCompensation and Benefits\nProjected compensation range for this position is Min: $80,117.46 Max: $192,521.07.
