Senior Electrical Engineer - Power Distribution and Generation

INTEGRA Design Group is an Architecture and Engineering (A/E) firm headquartered in Puerto Rico, with offices in Charlotte, NC and the Dominican Republic. Job Description INTEGRA is currently looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our team in San Juan, PR. The successful candidate will take on an active role of electrical design of fire alarm, lighting, and power systems as well as design of underground distribution lines, aerial distribution lines, substations for low and medium voltage lines Duties & Responsibilities Design and develop electrical power distribution systems, including medium and low voltage networks. Prepare load calculations, panel schedules, riser diagrams, and electrical layouts using AutoCAD and/or Revit. Specify electrical equipment, wiring methods, protective devices, and grounding systems. Coordinate electrical designs with mechanical, plumbing, civil, and architectural teams. Review shop drawings, perform site inspections, and provide technical support during construction. Ensure all designs comply with codes, and applicable local regulations. Support the preparation of proposals, cost estimates, and project documentation. Stay current with emerging technologies and standards related to energy efficiency and renewable systems. Requirements · Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required. · 4-5+ years of experience in electrical design of fire alarm, lighting and power. PE certifications · Excellent technical and interpersonal skills as well as verbal and written communication skills (English\Spanish preferred). · Computer skills required, with ability to use Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and/or Revit in such applications as spreadsheets, databases, and engineering software.
