You will work on reimagining field technologies for digital agriculture—creating systems that are geospatial, automated, and cognitive. These connected systems interface with users, data assets, and analytics models to provide instructions to equipment and process high-volume telemetry data.\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\nWork in an agile development environment to build, support, and deploy cloud-based applications across all environments.\r\nInteract directly with business customers to gather requirements and translate them into application features.\r\nCollaborate with development leads and stakeholders to manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.\r\nChampion code quality through unit/integration testing, functional testing, and debugging.\r\nEvaluate, refactor, and update existing applications while developing technical documentation for design and code.\r\nAdhere to modern data security practices and participate in the evaluation of new technologies.\r\nRequired Skills & Experience\r\nEducation: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.\r\nDevelopment: 4+ years of experience developing REST APIs in modern languages such as TypeScript or JavaScript, and 4+ years developing web-based UIs.\r\nCloud/AWS: 2+ years of practical experience in the AWS ecosystem, specifically with Lambda, ECS, EC2, S3, IAM, and RDS.\r\nDatabases: 2+ years of experience with relational/NoSQL database technologies and abstraction tools.\r\nSoft Skills: Demonstrable technical leadership, ability to manage ambiguity, and excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.\r\nDesired Skills & Experience\r\nExperience developing IoT technologies or distributed systems that generate large volumes of data.\r\nExperience with asynchronous, event-driven technologies such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.\r\nPay\r\n$52.50 - $75.00 /hr.\r\nWe are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States.
