Join us.\nAbout the Team:\nThe Manufacturing team owns all process development, fabrication strategy, and production equipment for Terran R, our next generation, reusable rocket. This team has a wide variety of responsibilities – from factory floor layout, to developing complex tooling for novel processes, and interfacing with our vehicle engineering team to heavily influence design of the rocket. We leverage our deep expertise to translate engineering requirements into highly optimized production lines, working cross functionally to consistently enhance the vehicle program.\nThis is a 2nd shift position with a standard schedule of 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM PT, Monday through Friday. The role includes a 10% shift differential added to the base pay. Please note that this position is structured around a baseline expectation of a 50-hour workweek, which may include occasional overtime as needed to meet operational goals.\nAbout the Role:\nResponsible for drilling precision holes, including choosing the right drill motors and drill sizes, on flight hardware using appropriate tooling/jigs or egg cups\nResponsible for assembling hardware using structural adhesives, properly torquing fasteners, installing inserts, or installing hiloks\nPerform in process inspections using hand tools such as micrometers, calipers, and pin gauges\nPerform blending or deburr operations using appropriate hand or power tools and then protecting hardware with alodine/sealant\nUphold high Relativity Space standards regarding safety and shop cleanliness\nFoster and inclusive environment for all members of the team\nAbout You:\n3+ years of precision drilling experience, structural assembly, or integration in an aerospace field\nProficient in the use of common hand tools and inspection tools including mahr gauges\nProficient in the use of Microsoft Office or other team communication tools such as Slack (or equivalent)\nNice to haves but not required:\nA&P certified\nExperience with composite parts\nExperience with reading drawing or blueprints\nBenefits:\n100% health care coverage on your first day\nQuarterly wellness stipend to use on health and wellness\nPartnership with Modern Health with access to 8 therapy & coaching sessions and mental health resources\nDiscounts on gym memberships, travel and entertainment through PerkSpot\nUnlimited onsite snacks\nDaily lunch stipend\nAnnual learning and development stipend\nPPE Stipend\nPet Insurance through Fetch\nCompany Paid Life Insurance, Short Term Disability, and Long Term Disability\nUp to 12 weeks salary continuation for paid pregnancy disability leave\n8 Weeks company paid parental leave\nAccess to One Medical\nWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
