Mid-Level Interior Designer – Landlord Services StudioAbout the RoleWe’re looking for a Mid-Level Interior Designer to join our Landlord Services team inHouston. This role is built for someone who’s confident in their skills yet eager to keeplearning—especially the fast-paced, high-volume nature of landlord work.The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of commercial interior design experience (3+preferred), TI or landlord project experience, and thrives in a team-oriented environment.You’ll work alongside a supportive team of designers and project managers to deliverquick-turn test fits, finish standards, and amenity upgrades that elevate buildings andhelp brokers lease space faster.We’re looking for someone who is:• A team player who works well with others and brings a collaborative spirit• Competent, reliable, and detail-oriented• Willing to learn ArchiCAD (experience with Revit or other BIM tools is a plus)• Skilled at selecting finishes and managing projects from start to finish• Familiar with BOMA standards and understands the pace and expectations oflandlord work• Has client-facing experience, comfortable communicating directly with landlords,brokers, and consultantsA Day in the Life• Collaborate with the landlord services team on test fits, finish upgrades, and amenityspaces for multi-tenant office buildings• Manage project phases from concept to completion—including programming,schematic and design development, construction documents, and constructionadministration• Prepare, update, and present building standard finish packages that align withlandlord branding, budgets, and schedule goals• Work closely with brokers, contractors, consultants, and product reps to meet clientobjectives• Contribute to space planning, FF&E and finish selection, and furniture systemcoordination• Generate graphic presentations, renderings, finish plans, and material specs for clientand broker presentations• Help manage budgets, schedules, and project documentation while supportingsenior designers in delivering milestones• Actively participate in a collaborative team culture that values clear communication,mutual respect, and problem-solvingQualifications• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from an accredited program• Minimum 2 years of commercial interior design experience (3–5 years preferred)• Landlord or TI experience required—must understand the fast-paced nature andexpectations of landlord work• Proficiency in space planning, finish selection, FF&E coordination, and constructiondocumentation• Ability to learn ArchiCAD quickly; experience with ArchiCAD or Revit is a plus• Strong understanding of BOMA standards and how they inform test fits and buildingefficiency• Client-facing experience with excellent communication and presentation skills• Knowledge of visualization tools (Twinmotion, SketchUp, VRay, etc.) is a plus• Flexible and able to manage multiple projects at different stages in a deadline-drivenenvironment• Positive, professional, and team-oriented mindset—committed to collaboration andcontinuous learning
