Explain how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods.\nWrite guests food orders on order pads and repeat the order back to the guest.\nInput guests order accurately into POS system.\nCheck with guests to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.\nCheck guests’ identification to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages.\nCollect payments from guests.\nRemove dishes and glasses from tables and take them to kitchen for cleaning throughout guests visit and after they leave.\nClean and reset tables after guests have finished dining.\nAssist host or hostess by answering phones, taking to-go orders, greeting, seating, and thanking guests.\nPerform cleaning duties, such as sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming carpet, tidying up server station, taking out trash, or checking and cleaning bathroom.\nRoll silverware, set up food stations, or set up dining areas to prepare for the next shift or for large parties.\nStock service areas with supplies such as coffee, tea, beverages, napkins, side plates, etc.\nFill salt, pepper shakers and wipe down table tents throughout the shift.\nAsk the guests to leave a review.\nMaintain a positive and professional approach to coworkers and customers.\n\nQualification Standards\n\nDependability — Job requires being
