Candidates located outside of Santiago, Chile will be fully remote employees.\r\nTHE ROLE\r\nWHAT YOU'LL DO:\r\nDesign, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures to support analytical and operational workloads.\r\nDevelop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines, ensuring efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading from various sources.\r\nWork closely with backend and platform engineers to integrate data pipelines into cloud-native applications.\r\nManage and optimize cloud data warehouses, primarily BigQuery, ensuring performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.\r\nImplement data governance, security, and privacy best practices, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.\r\nCollaborate with analytics teams to define data models and enable self-service reporting and BI capabilities.\r\nDevelop and maintain data documentation, including data dictionaries, lineage tracking, and metadata management.\r\nMonitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines, ensuring high availability and reliability.\r\nStay up to date with emerging data engineering technologies and best practices, continuously improving our data infrastructure.\r\nWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:\r\nCertified Snowpro\r\nExperience collaborating with distributed teams across North America and Latin America.\r\n5+ years of experience in data engineering, building modern cloud-based data platforms.\r\nStrong hands-on experience with Snowflake, including performance tuning, security, and data modeling.\r\nAdvanced SQL skills for analytics engineering and data transformation.\r\nProficiency in Python for data processing, automation, and orchestration.\r\nExperience with dbt or similar analytics engineering frameworks.\r\nFamiliarity with orchestration tools such as Dagster or Apache Airflow.\r\nExperience enabling or supporting machine learning, feature engineering, or AI-driven use cases on top of data platforms.\r\nSolid understanding of data privacy, governance, and compliance best practices.\r\nStrong problem-solving skills and a pragmatic, delivery-oriented mindset.\r\nStrong problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and optimize complex data workflows.\r\nExcellent English communication and collaboration skills.\r\nNICE TO HAVES\r\nExperience with Snowflake Cortex, Snowpark, or ML workflows integrated with Snowflake.\r\nFamiliarity with GenAI or LLM-enabled analytics use cases (e.g., semantic layers, AI-assisted insights, decisioning).\r\nExperience with Databricks or hybrid Snowflake + Databricks architectures.\r\nExposure to real-time or near-real-time data pipelines.\r\nExperience with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI).\r\nInfrastructure as Code experience (e.g., Terraform) in data environments.\r\nFamiliarity with CDPs, marketing platforms, and digital experience ecosystems (e.g., Segment, Contentful, personalization tools).\r\nLIFE AT APPLY\r\nHere are a few benefits we offer to support you\r\nAgentic Delivery: Our people work in a modern way to deliver client outcomes.
