CNC Manufacturing Engineer
Job DescriptionAbout the Role:Seeking an experienced CNC Manufacturing Engineer to develop advanced machining processes across a diverse range of materials and regulated industries. This role is responsible for creating optimized CNC programs, validating production processes, and ensuring repeatable, high-precision manufacturing.Key Responsibilities:• Create, optimize, and validate CNC programs using CAD/CAM systems.• Engineer toolpaths for complex geometries and multi-axis machining.• Apply cutting dynamics, chip load control, heat management, and tolerance principles.• Develop machining strategies for aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, superalloys, plastics, and non-ferrous metals.• Define tooling, fixtures, workholding, feeds/speeds, and engagement parameters.• Validate parts using precision metrology and CMM equipment.• Lead continuous improvement efforts and support NPI projects.Required Qualifications:• AS or BS in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience.• 5+ years CNC machining/programming experience.• Strong CAD/CAM experience and GD&T; mastery.• Deep understanding of material behavior, tool wear, and machining theory.
