Position Summary We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to join a high-volume Emergency Department in Dothan, Alabama. This position offers the opportunity to practice in a modern emergency care environment with strong specialty support, advanced technology, and a collaborative team of physicians and advanced practice providers. Physicians will provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients of all ages while working in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting. Key Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries Perform emergency procedures and stabilize critically ill patients Manage trauma, cardiac, neurologic, respiratory, and other emergent conditions Coordinate patient care with hospitalists, specialists, and consulting physicians Interpret diagnostic studies including laboratory results, imaging, and EKGs Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental activities Provide compassionate, evidence-based emergency care in a team-oriented environment Qualifications MD or DO with completion of an accredited Emergency Medicine residency Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine Eligible for Alabama medical licensure Strong clinical and procedural skills in emergency care Open to both experienced physicians and graduating residents Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation package Productivity and quality incentives available Comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, retirement) Malpractice coverage provided CME allowance and paid CME time Generous PTO and professional expense reimbursement Relocation assistance available Sign-on bonus available (where applicable) Excellent specialist backup and hospital support
