Job Title: CVOR Tech (Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician) Location: Indianapolis, IN 46202Schedule: Day Shift - 4x10 Hours (11:00 AM - 9:30 PM)Duration: 13 Weeks Compensation Local Candidates: From $1,400/week Traveler Candidates: Upto $2,300/week Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled CVOR Tech to support cardiovascular surgical procedures in a fast-paced surgical environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgeries and be comfortable assisting in complex procedures while maintaining high standards of patient care and safety. Key Responsibilities Prepare and manage surgical instruments and equipment for cardiovascular procedures Receive pump lines from perfusion and prepare for cannulation Assist surgeons during a wide range of cardiac and vascular surgeries, including: Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) Valve replacements and repairs Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) repair Endovascular procedures (EVAR, TEVAR, TAVR) Carotid Endarterectomy Femoral-popliteal bypass graft Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) procedures Mitral valve replacement Pericardial window procedures Robotic-assisted and minimally invasive cardiac surgeries Heart and lung transplant procedures Aortic dissection repair Maintain sterile field and adhere to surgical asepsis standards Anticipate surgeon needs and ensure efficient workflow during procedures Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, perfusionists, and anesthesia teams Ensure proper handling, cleaning, and sterilization of surgical instruments Required Qualifications Licensure & Certifications NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) Certification - Required BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) Certification - Required Education High School Diploma or equivalent - Required Experience Minimum 2 years of CVOR Tech experience Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center preferred Strong background in vascular, cardiac, and thoracic surgical cases Skills & Competencies In-depth knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and instrumentation Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure, fast-paced environments Strong attention to detail and sterile technique Excellent teamwork and communication skills Ability to anticipate surgical needs and respond quickly Work Environment Hospital-based operating room setting High-acuity, fast-paced surgical environment Collaborative, multidisciplinary team For more details reach at or Call / Text at .
