At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.\n\nSEC Reporting Manager\nDUBLIN, CA AND/OR MENLO PARK\nFINANCE\nFULL-TIME\nWe’re looking for a driven SEC Reporting Manager to manage our SEC reporting function. Reporting to the SEC Reporting Senior Manager, this key position will be responsible for the SEC reporting process, including quarter and year-end reporting, and managing the end-to-end process over equity accounting and disclosures.\n\nRESPONSIBILITIES\n\nSupport the preparation of SEC filings (Form 10-Q, 10-K, Proxy, etc.) including managing the review and approval process with external auditors, senior management, legal counsel, disclosure committee and audit committee.\n\nPrepare or review quarterly financial statements.\n\nPrepare disclosure checklists and ensure compliance with all GAAP and disclosure requirements.\n\nPrepare earnings per share calculations.\n\nPrepare or review monthly journal entries, accounting analyses, and reconciliations related to stock-based compensation, stock repurchases and other equity-based transactions.\n\nManage quarterly reporting, auditor PBC requests, and auditor reviews to ensure timely completion of quarter-end reporting activities.\n\nDrive process improvement opportunities for financial reporting and equity accounting.\n\nStay up-to-date on changes to accounting standards and proactively identify potential impacts to the Company’s financial statements.\n\nMonitor and revise procedures to ensure the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting and equity accounting.\n\nAd hoc projects, analysis and reporting as required by management.\n\nJOB QUALIFICATION\n\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting with CPA license required.\n\n5+ years of relevant accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a corporate financial reporting role.\n\nPrior Public accounting / audit experience with Big 4 highly desired.\n\nStrong background with SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, XBRL tagging) required, including knowledge of SEC reporting standards.\n\nExperience with public company stock administration and stock-based compensation expense reporting, and Workiva SEC reporting tool preferred.\n\nExcellent project management skills and the ability to collaborate with management and others in the company. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and a great team player.\n\nSelf-starter with a proactive approach to problem identification and remediation solutions.\n\nSuperior attention to detail.\n\nThe expectation is that this person works in the Dublin, CA and/or Menlo Park office at least 3 days a week.\n\nSnowflake is growing fast, and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth.
