This role maximizes asset availability through work‑order structuring, resource allocation, and alignment with production priorities.\n\nKey Activities and Responsibilities\n1. Maintenance Planning\n\nPrepare detailed work orders in SAP PM, including task breakdown, sequencing, estimated duration, required skills and labor, materials/spare parts/tools, SOPs, drawings, and safety instructions.\n\nDevelop and maintain a job plan library for high‑frequency and critical tasks.\n\nContinuously improve job plans based on feedback and execution learnings.\n\nOrganize and manage kitting, ensuring all materials are pre‑staged (“work order box”).\n\nCreate purchase orders for required materials, services, and external contractors.\n\nEnsure work orders are fully prepared and handed over as “Ready to Schedule.”\n\n2. Maintenance Scheduling\n\nDevelop and maintain mid‑term, weekly, and daily maintenance schedules, including Day‑1 and same‑day execution.\n\nAllocate internal and external resources efficiently across all work orders.\n\nOptimize schedules to align with production priorities and plant constraints.\n\nBundle and group similar work orders to improve productivity and reduce downtime.\n\nPublish and communicate schedules to stakeholders.\n\n3. Coordination & Stakeholder Management\n\nFacilitate weekly scheduling meetings with production and maintenance supervisors/foremen.\n\nEnsure alignment between maintenance plans and production requirements.\n\nCoordinate execution of critical and emergency work when needed.\n\nProvide feedback to planners on job‑plan quality and execution gaps.\n\n4. Performance Management & Continuous Improvement\n\nMonitor and track schedule compliance and execution performance.\n\nManage and optimize the maintenance backlog.\n\nSupport decision‑making on contractor resource levels.\n\nIdentify and drive continuous improvements in planning and scheduling processes.\n\nKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)\n\nSchedule compliance (%)\n\nPlanned vs unplanned work ratio\n\nBacklog level (weeks of work)\n\nWork order quality (ready‑to‑schedule completeness)\n\nWrench time / labor utilization\n\nEmergency work (%)\n\nPlanning accuracy (duration & resource estimates)\n\nSkills\n\nStrong organizational and planning skills.\n\nExcellent coordination and communication abilities.\n\nAnalytical mindset focused on efficiency and optimization.\n\nAbility to work cross‑functionally with production, maintenance, and procurement teams.\n\nDetail‑oriented with a structured approach to preparation.\n\nProblem‑solving and continuous improvement mindset.\n\nPrevious Experience\n\nMinimum of 3 years of experience in Maintenance or a related field.\n\nQualifications and Education\n\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience.\n\nMinimum 3–5 years of experience in maintenance planning and/or scheduling in an industrial environment.\n\nStrong knowledge of SAP PM / EAM systems.\n\nExperience with maintenance best practices (RCM, preventive & predictive maintenance).\n\nWe celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive work environment.
