This role is responsible for operating advanced stringless concrete paving and curb equipment for commercial, municipal, and residential site development projects throughout Northwest Arkansas.\nWe are looking for highly motivated operators who take pride in precision, production, equipment care, and safety. The ideal candidate will have experience with GPS-guided concrete curb equipment and an understanding of grade control, concrete placement, and finishing operations.\nDuties\nOperate stringless concrete curb safely and efficiently\nPerform layout verification using GPS and total station guidance systems\nConstruct concrete improvements, including:\nCurbs and gutters\nSidewalks\nMonitor line, grade, and cross slope to ensure compliance with plans and specifications\nCoordinate with Survey Crews, Foremen, Finishers, and Laborers during pours\nMaintain proper machine setup, calibration, and adjustments throughout production\nPerform daily equipment inspections and preventative maintenance checks\nTroubleshoot operational or grade control issues in the field\nEnsure work meets municipal, DOT, and project quality standards\nFollow all OSHA and company safety requirements\nAssist with production planning and sequencing to maximize efficiency\nQualifications\nRequired\nMinimum 3 years of experience operating stringless curb equipment\nExperience with GPS machine control systems\nAbility to read construction plans, grades, and layout information\nUnderstanding of concrete placement, finishing, and curing practices\nStrong knowledge of concrete tolerances and quality standards\nValid driver’s license and reliable transportation\nPreferred\nExperience with Gomaco or similar stringless concrete systems\nExperience on municipal roadway or subdivision projects\nOSHA 10 certification\nCDL license (preferred but not required)\nSkills & Competencies\nPrecision equipment operation\nStrong understanding of line and grade control\nAttention to detail and quality workmanship\nProduction-focused mindset\nStrong communication and teamwork\nEquipment troubleshooting and maintenance awareness\nAbility to work in fast-paced construction environments\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditions\nAbility to climb on and off heavy equipment safely\nAbility to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed\nAbility to work extended hours during peak production periods\nThe Brittenum Group is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
