Process Engineer – Electromechanical Assemblies","description":"As a Manufacturing Process Engineer for electromechanical assemblies, your primary role is to develop and document manufacturing processes for electronic and electromechanical assemblies which yield reliable, high-quality assemblies at the lowest possible cost.\n\nIn the role of a Manufacturing Process Engineer – Electromechanical Assemblies:\n\nYou will develop and implement manufacturing process technologies, methods, and techniques to assist and promote the building of reliable, high quality electromechanical assemblies at the lowest possible cost.\nYou will develop and maintain product assembly procedures for electromechanical assemblies and cable assemblies.\nYou will provide active consultation to new product development teams regarding manufacturing capabilities, techniques and issues related to design for manufacturability and assembly (DFMA).\nYou will assist in the preparation of new product cost estimates including applicable NRE.\nYou will be responsible for identifying, specifying, validating, documenting, implementing, and training on new equipment and processes.\nYou will design production equipment and fixtures to aid in the assembly of product while improving operator safety/comfort, reducing labor and improving quality.\nYou will provide technical training in electromechanical & cable manufacturing techniques, methods, and processes to manufacturing associates.\nYou will maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, changeovers, and costs.\nYou will Investigate and diagnose product manufacturing issues and respond to internal and external customer requests for changes and improvements.\nYou will coordinate the implementation of product design changes.\nYou will collect, record, and present data applicable to the status of production projects assigned to you.\nYou will ensure projects are completed on time.\n\nThe skills you need to succeed:\n\nYou must be a self-starter and a strong problem solver.\nYou must have the ability to work as a member of a team.\nYou must with 2d & 3d CAD design/modeling of assemblies, schematics, parts, and draft creation.\nYou must understand Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing concepts.\nYou must have experience designing, assembling, and debugging of automated or semi-automated electromechanical equipment.\nYou must have a basic understanding of computer and machine programming and I/O logic.\nYou must have experience validation efforts.\nYou must have strong MS Office abilities: proficiency necessary in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.\nYou must have experience with MS Project.\n\nEducation & experience of a successful candidate:\n\nB.S. in Engineering (or equivalent combination of experience and education) in Electrical (EE or EET), Mechanical (ME or MET), or Industrial (IE, IET).\n2-4 years of related of work experience.\nExperience with electromechanical and/or medical device assembly and test highly desirable.\nExperience implementing lean manufacturing and/or six sigma
