By providing the majority of mechanical requirements in-house, including engineering, estimating, 3D-design/BIM coordination, sheet metal, HVAC, refrigeration, and controls, we are a“ONE-STOP” shop for any project.The RoleMechanical Solutions is seeking an experienced Project Manager with 5–10 years of related experience in the mechanical contracting industry. This role is responsible for managing projects from planning through completion, including coordinating installations, developing and maintaining schedules, and overseeing project budgets to ensure successful and timely delivery.ResponsibilitiesManage construction projects from turnover through final closeoutPlan, coordinate, and oversee multiple projects while meeting schedules, budgets, and deadlinesDirect and supervise Superintendents, field personnel, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure accurate execution of project scopeCollaborate with internal teams and external partners to achieve project objectivesReview project scope to develop schedules, plan deliverables, and estimate costsDevelop, maintain, and update project schedules throughout the project lifecycleTrack and manage project resources, including labor, equipment, and materialsEnsure compliance with contract requirements, quality standards, and safety regulationsIdentify, analyze, and mitigate project risksObtain required permits and approvalsPrepare and maintain project status reports for internal and external stakeholdersNegotiate, prepare, and process change ordersCoordinate monthly billing and financial documentation with the accounting departmentComplete all required project closeout documentationTravel locally between jobsites and safely navigate active construction environmentsQualifications3–5 years of experience in HVAC or mechanical project management; design-build experience preferredStrong knowledge of construction management processes, methods, and mechanical systemsWorking knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and municipal permitting processesAbility to read and interpret architectural, structural, electrical, civil, plumbing, and mechanical drawingsExperience managing subcontractors and vendorsProven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet sensitive timelinesStrong organizational, communication, and time-management skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, and project management software such as Microsoft Project and Bluebeam RevuOSHA 10 certification required; OSHA 30 preferredBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferredAbility to professionally represent the company with customers, owners, and partnersAbility to operate standard office equipmentMust be able to pass pre-employment and random drug testing in accordance with company policyWhy People Choose Mechanical SolutionsMechanical Solutions, Inc. is committed to creating an inclusive and safe work environment where people feel connected, valued, and empowered to reach their full potential.
