Candidate must be open to start initial training on 8-hour dayshifts, Monday through Friday. \n \nWhat Will You Enjoy Doing\nMain Responsibilities:\n\nRunning Production area o Ensures goods are produced and packaged in correct quantities in accordance with agreed specifications\n\nAccurately records goods produced and problems encountered during shift to ensure the smooth changeover of shifts\nPerforms mold changes with the Machine Operator\nEnsures the good quality of the product\n\nEnsures all employees understand and follow company policies and procedures\nEnsures all employees work in a safe manner by following company regulations\nLeading the Team o Ensures team works together as efficiently as possible\n\nAssesses training needs of staff and ensures execution of training\nEnsures adequate staffing to cover absenteeism and holidays, as well as normal operations\nCorrectly records time and attendance of team\nPerforms performance evaluations on a regular basis\n\nOther\n\nAttends meetings with Production Manager\nReviews employee concerns and issues with the Production Manager\nMaintains good housekeeping within department\n\nThe position description is not all inclusive and all employees may be required to perform other duties as assigned. \nWhat Makes You Great\nEducation/Experience:\n\nMin High School Diploma or equivalent\nTechnical engineering background\nSupervisory experience required, preferably in the plastics industry\nGood process knowledge\n\nQualifications/Skills:\n\nComputer literate\nAbility to train personnel\n\n \nPhysical Demands:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
