In addition, perform setup, alignment and testing according to customer specifications and blueprints by performing the following duties in a safe and timely manner.\nJob Responsibilities\nRead blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.\nMove machinery and equipment to work area, using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks.\nForm dry pack grout as needed for machines, using hand tools and building materials, such as wood, grout, and steel.\nAlign machines and equipment and mobile equipment, using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers and plumb bobs.\nAssemble machines, and bolts, rivets, or otherwise fasten them to foundation or other structures, using hand tools and power tools. May require some welding.\nAssemble and install equipment, such as shafting, conveyors, and tram rails, using hand tools and power tools.\nAssemble and install equipment, insert shims, level and adjust.\nInstall beams and bed plates, level and establish centerline prior to equipment installation.\nInstall any additional parts such as pumps, valves, gauges and auxiliary equipment.\nDismantle machines, using hammers, wrenches, crowbars, and other hand tools for shipment or demo.\nMay repair and lubricate machines and equipment.\nWill install robots and modify machine per request.\nMay perform installation and maintenance work as part of team of skilled trade workers.\nA limited of millwrights will be required to perform precision alignment, vibration testing, run assessment and flushing requirements.\nOther duties as assigned.\nMinimum Required Tool List:\n1/2” drive socket set (also metric)\n3/8” – 1 ¼” sockets (also metric)\n3/8” socket set (also metric)\n5/16” – 3/4 “ sockets (also metric)\nBox end wrenches & open end wrenches, 5/16”-1 ¼” (also metric)\nChannel lock pliers, needle nose pliers, vice grips, pliers\nCold chisel, punches\nBall Pein hammer, sledge hammer, dead blow hammer\nTorpedo level, chalk line, 25’ tape measure (standard and metric)\nScrew drivers (assorted sizes, Flat and Phillip head) scribes\nAllen wrench (standard and metric)\nAdjustable wrenches\nPipe Wrenches\nCombination square\nPry bars\nJob Qualifications\nCompleted MIL course at a technical or trade school or a minimum of 3 years of experience working in the field.\nMust be able to read and understand mechanical drawings, write and communicate clearly with supervisor and co-workers.\nUtilize basic math and a calculator to solve problems associated with installing equipment using precision measurement tools and devices.\nEmployee must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb, bend, twist, stand and reach repetitively, operate moving equipment and work in hot/cold/damp/cramped environments.\nCandidate may be required to pass a drug test and Criminal background check based on job location/requirements.\nBenefits\nWe strive to provide a competitive compensation and benefits package.
