The Superintendent will manage on-site crews (including self-perform teams), ensure safety and quality, maintain schedule and budget adherence, and coordinate closely with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to deliver complex projects on time and to specification.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise on-site construction activities across mission-critical, higher education, industrial, and manufacturing projects.Plan, schedule, and sequence daily and weekly work to meet project milestones while minimizing downtime for mission-critical operations. Direct, mentor, and coordinate self-perform crews and subcontractors to achieve productivity, quality, and safety goals.Enforce and promote safety programs, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure compliance with OSHA and site-specific safety requirements.Manage quality control and workmanship inspections; ensure work meets contract documents, drawings, and specifications.Coordinate with project managers, engineers, facilities staff, and client representatives to resolve issues, obtain approvals, and communicate progress.Track labor, equipment, and material usage; report status and variances to project management and assist in cost control.Implement site logistics, access control, and protection plans to safeguard ongoing operations and critical systems.
